About InsideHR

James is an organisational learning and development specialist and has worked as an HR manager, consultant, in-house recruiter and trainer with expertise in both management strategy and HR policies and processes. A former editor of HRreview, James then spent seven years at specialist retailer Planet Organic as the architect of their learning strategy and apprenticeship programmes before moving to Guardian News Media in June 2022. He has continued to work closely with HRreview as a podcast presenter and the regular chairperson of their award winning webinar series, InsideHR.

Martin is Head of Sales and Marketing and Publisher of HRreview, which he joined in 2014. He has grown HRreview from a small B2B news site into an award-winning HR title, with a five-fold increase in traffic and revenue, and launched the InsideHR webinar platform. Before HRreview he was Group Head, Digital at Immediate Media, and earlier held sales and digital development roles at LEWIS PR and Incisive Media.

Chernelle is Marketing Manager at HRreview. She joined in 2022 as Social Media Manager and took on marketing in October 2024, promoting InsideHR webinars and the HR in Review podcast. Before HRreview she was a video editor at Jellysmack, the creator company.

Sharon is Account Director at HRreview, where she has worked since 2019. She builds long-term partnerships with clients, developing advertising, sponsorship and content marketing campaigns that deliver measurable value for both clients and the HR audience.
